Catch Up!

Wow! Man I haven't been on here in a while! The last post made was about our first competition. Well, We Won! And the next one too! Well we have this weekend off, and well, I'm pretty happy 'bout that 'cause certain people have been getting on my nerves in the band. I am going to the football game tonight as Brady will be taking the pep band. I think we'll all have a good time. I can't believe that there are only 3 more rehearsals until BOA, then 6 until Lower State, and then.....9 until State!. II am really looking forward to BOA! A whole weekend in Florida!? With a whole marching band?!?! Sounds fun right? Right! Things have been going okay at my house, just a little chaos. But really no matter what goes on I know I have my music to fall back on.
So that's about all for now. I hope we have a great week of practice so we will be prepared for BOA. I also hope people will start listening to Brady more, because I know he is the best for the job, he knows what he's talking about people! Until next time, GoooooOOOOOO SWANSEA!!!!!!!

TODAY IS THE DAY!!!!! one today is my birthday, the other is that we have a first competition in 3a!!!!!!! I can't wait. I think we are as prepared for this as we can be. if we go out there and do our best they have to reward us for it, and even if it means us coming in second(or third) which none of us want, if inside we know b we did our best nothing can take that feeling of adrenaline and pride away from us!

So we are prepared and ready to go, hope everyone had a good nights sleep. I'll ses you guys at the football stadium at one!

Tomorrow

Gosh,
I know I haven't been posting things everyday, but things have gone crazy for me! I was just told that the school has to take me out of band all together! Okay... I know I sound totally Dorky right now, but I don't care, Band is my life. Music is what i live for. Frankly this thing has me really ticked. they said they could put me in band, then put my pre- calculus class as third, but they now are saying they wont do it. This whole scheduling thing is way out of wack! So yesterday's practice wasn't that great..... as a matter of fact.. it sucked. We didn't do anything that we wanted to get done, done, and we were REALLY unfocused. I feel really bad now about that. I know I could have done better, but i know tomorrow is a new day.Hopefully tomorrow will be a better practice, and we will get more things done. I know for a fact that Brady will be working us hard, or maybe he wont. He might just want to see how bad we really want this, and how many of us really want to be here, I know I do.

So if any Tiger Marching Band Members are reading this, Please make today a good day.

Crazy day!

Today was a very, VERY chaotic day!! Mr. Brady worked us hard to see what kind of band he'll have this year, and to see how hard we have to work. Let's just say we will have to work hard. A lot of things went wrong today. First off we lost about four or five members of our band! We made a lot of mistakes, it was really hot, and that's not even all of it! My day was crazy! I took over someones spot so i had to learn all new drill like.. fast! I also had to change instruments. At least the two instruments aren't that different... except maybe the new one weighs about twice as much as mine does.

I overheard some people today talking about how they thought it was easy to do this thing... they called it. Well its not a thing... it's a way of life! They say... all you do is march around and play your little instruments.... li=ooks easy to me. To all of those people I say lets see you try it!! But hey... if it doesn't look easy then we aren't doing something right!

I think we are going to be great this season. No i change my mind. I don't think we are going to be great....... I know we are!! So to all of those bands in AAA that think we will need a few years to get ready to compete with them.... Here we come and we are coming fast! You will get a big surprise!!

oreos

Hey guys...

Im really bored right now so i figured that i'd post something for ya'll! Right at this very moment, i am eating some oreos and watching some of my favorite movie clips. I know that's not a lot for today, but i just wanted to say something! lol!

My First Time

This is my first post on this blog, and i hope to have many more. I will go ahead and warn you (warn, not tell) that most of these blogs will be really random and tell the cold hard truth!
